I was walking inside the grocery store on Monday when I stumbled upon the epiphany that I had left my wallet inside the car. I swiftly ran to the car and while trying to search for the wallet, I realized, it was in my pocket all along.
I was tensed for no reason, I thought. Perhaps I should have been tensed about how I got all worked up when I shouldn’t have in the first place. Stressing over misplacing things, forgetting “important” things, fearing attachment, delusions regarding previously spoken words and so much more, are directly linked to anxiety.
Hyperventilation is a scary term for yourself and for others around you. Your mind observed certain incidents in the past that led you to believe you may have certainly forgot or misplaced something, that you detest the word attachment because you were left all alone and dry once upon a time or how a few words left you broken and embarrassed.
Incidents of those sort, have a bearing on your mind and in your present. No you’re not “crazy” you’re just being careful so past life doesn’t cast a mundane shadow at your present life. You’re anxious because of your past. And if you had a terrible past with recurring PTSD, I sincerely hope you find your calmness, restore your faith in yourself before restoring the same in humanity.
Because people aren’t always going to be good. Maybe they were good in the past, but something might have come along with due course of time, turning them into rotten eggs. But you, you shouldn’t let those experiences define who you’re. You can still make yourself better, it’s never too late, right?
