Future It Is

Life is a journey with endless destinations.

And happiness is always a few steps above from where you stand.

Life is a journey with faceless strangers.

That mask changes at each turn, with smiles borrowed and lend.

Life is a journey where a moment ends in a moment.

You can laugh or cry a thousand times before you reach the end.

Life is a journey of timeless hours.

The sky is limitless, but we are crawling on the limited land.

Today, I wanted to talk about the dream of every person – a better future. It is foundation of our lives. The whole purpose of education job is a better life, good job, happiness. Well, there are a few people who like to study, but majority, whom are we fooling. But sometimes, it is important to ask ‘Is a better future worth loosing your present?’

My life is not a mountain of experiences, still in a handful moment, I have seen students studying day and night for scoring marks in some exam and locking themselves for months to get a job. And what for – A life of their dreams. It is not that job is what many of them are interested in, but the life. I am not saying that one should not be ready for the future, and just enjoy and invest himself in the current moment, but tirelessly living in the future is also not the correct option.

Let me ask a question, “What the happiest moment in your life till now?” When I asked myself the same question, it was the moment I do not even remember. It was not a star moment of my life, but a normal day, probably when I was sitting with my family having a few laughs, or those stupid hours of school or a random day with friends. I believe life is always in the moment you live, today, not tomorrow not yesterday. It is those tiny moment of every day life, that we cherish.

So, let’s give a try to our present. I think it is worth it.
