Becoming angry is common. It tells that you are frustrated at someone or something. However, anger is neither good for our mental health nor for making others happy. That’s why anger management is important. Here, let me show how you can control your anger.

1.Don’t speak what comes to your mind (or mouth)

Thinking before you speak can help defeat anger as when you’re angry you can say things that you’ll regret later. If you control what you’re speaking, your anger will fly away.

2. Give yourself a break

Take a break. Be alone for a while. Have some coffee (or whatever you prefer drinking). This can help you get better, relax a little and have a better mind set.

3.Listen to music

Music will carry you away from your feelings. Take out a pair of headphones or go to your room and switch on the speakers. Play your favourite songs whether they be pop, jazz, hip-hop or disco.

4.Laugh out loud

Try to laugh. Do anything that makes you laugh. It can be listening to jokes, playing with your children, reading comics or watching funny movies.

5. Write a letter

Write a letter or a email to the person who made you angry. Then, tear or delete it. Expressing how you really feel in any type of form is all that you need, even if no one will ever see it.
