Tell me one thing,
Does stressing about a concern provide you with solutions?
Stress occurs when a person undergoes emotional or physical strain. It can be for a short or long period. What is stressful for you might not be stressful for another person. It varies from person to person. There is no age limit for stress. A person of any age can suffer from stress. Every individual might have undergone some level of stress at a particular period. For instance, a toddler fears and feels insecure when he doesn’t find his mother for a few minutes, a student experiences stress when he is weak in studies. A middle-aged man experiences stress when he has financial issues. An aged woman undergoes stress when she is suffering from health issues. These are only a few instances. There are other instances like relationship issues, divorce, death of loved ones, injuries, and many more situations that can give rise to stress.
DID YOU EXPERIENCE ANY OF THESE TYPE OF STRESS?
ACUTE STRESS:- Everyone experiences acute stress. When you experience any challenging situation for the first time, you undergo this type of stress. For example, when you narrowly escaped from a deadly accident.
EPISODIC ACUTE STRESS:- This kind of stress occurs when you are repeatedly prone to acute stress. For example, when you regularly give presentations at your workplace- the stress that you feel before or while giving a presentation.
CHRONIC STRESS:- It’s long term stress. It lasts for months or sometimes for years. For example, you may experience chronic stress if you have lost your loved ones or if you are having relationship issues. In this stage, there are chances of a person harming himself.
PHYSICAL STRESS:– when you are tired working all day long or when you have injuries on your body or when your body aches in these conditions, your body demands rest.
If you do not find ways, for how to manage stress, it may adversely affect your mental and physical health.

Countless people are suffering from stress. Stress has become a part of our life as we all know life is not a cakewalk. Life is full of challenges-many of them are abrupt, and sometimes these challenges can be challenging to overcome. It becomes difficult to go through all these, and eventually, you are prone to stress.
Here is a golden rule to de-stress yourself
CIRCUMVENT:
Try to avoid that type of situation, which will end up giving you stress. For example, when you argue with a person, and if you feel that it’s affecting your mental health as in giving rise to stress, try not to get into arguments by finding another way around tackling the situation.
CONTROL:
Have control over your thoughts, do not try to overthink as it will give rise to stress. Try to engage yourself in the work that you like the most. Do not over-analyze or rethink about a specific situation because when you start doing this, you will begin to judge everything. Due to this, you will end up being even more stressed and chaotic, so have control over your thoughts and try to deviate your mind. When you are sometimes thinking more than necessary, you will end up making inappropriate decisions, and this may, even more, mess up your concern.
CERTAIN:
Have only certain kinds of thoughts as in positive thoughts. Try to focus on the positive aspect of any situation that comes on your way. In short, try to be optimistic. Surround yourself with people who spread positivity. Notice their thought process and try to think like them. When a negative thought tries to enter your mind, try avoiding it and start thinking about the good memories that you had before with your dear once. Share your concerns with certain people who can understand and respect your feeling as it helps in reducing stress.
CHANGE:
Change your lifestyle. Organize your daily routines. Try to set a time table —exercise regularly. Try to have a balanced diet, which includes plenty of fruits and vegetables. Listen to pleasant music, which will calm your mind. Try to watch movies or shows that can refresh your memory or try to be around people who can make you laugh and entertain you. Spend some time with your dear once. Go for a vacation once a year. Reduce the intake of alcohol and drugs as these will not help you to prevent stress; instead, it would adversely affect your health.
COUNSELLING:
There is a chance that your stress becomes a chronic illness when ignored in a primary stage. The chronic phase is a condition where you will not be able to handle your stress anymore. During this condition, you need to seek the help of a psychologist or psychiatrist. Consulting them will help in improving your mental health as they will suggest you pertinent ways of coping up with your stress.
We need to know how to manage stress. “One of the best pieces of advice I have ever got from a horse master. He told me to go slow to go fast. I think that applies to everything in life. We live as though there aren’t enough hours in a day, but if we do each thing calmly and carefully, we will get it done quicker and with much less stress.” – Viggo Mortensen
Stress, when taken at an ordinary level, helps you to accomplish tasks as it motivates you. But do not let stress conquer your mind, instead, you need to subdue.
