Failure. How do you define it?
Some define it as defeat. Some as incapability. We can define it as an experience that paves a way to learn from our mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes. But those mistakes are never an end to our life.
When I was a kid with hopeless thoughts my father told me a story that he learned in his schooling about trying hard. Whenever I feel low I used to remember this story. Here is the story: Raghav was a person who always wanted to grow successfully in the business sector. Whenever he starts a business he ends up in heavy losses. This made him leave the business sector he loved the most and shifted to do some other normal job. On a weekend Raghav decided to clean his home. when he was almost done he noticed a spider that was trying hard to reach its web located on the top of the roof. It fell the first attempt. It kept trying in another way but could not reach. once fell it started finding multiple ways to reach but it did not get tired of trying again and again. Finally, after a very long time, the spider reached its web. The moral of the story is to try and try until you reach your goal though it is heard and read very frequently it is worth reminding ourselves not to fail in trying. It is the same for us to face unfulfillment repeatedly to obtain favorable outcomes in the things we do. Do not fear failure.
” It is fine to celebrate success but it is more important to heed the lessons of failure ” – Bill Gates
Many of us are brought up to acquire triumph in life and to celebrate with it rather than to accept collapse. Kids often said to rank high, to secure first in the classrooms but never counsel how to deal with disappointment if they get fewer marks. Certainly, that shows a great impact on them in their growth span. As an old saying says failure is the first step towards success how can we skip the first step in the process? It is impossible right. So it is very significant to swim hard against the tide to reach the shore in our life’s ocean. It is alright to fall and fail. You have to fail to practice being brave. Failure always tries to prove us wrong. Our job is to prove failure erroneous by making changes in our attempts to approach positive results. Never fear for failure. If Edison had struck with his failure we would remain in the darkness. Walt Disney who is one of the most creative geniuses was once told he lacked creativity. Milton Hershey founder of one of the most well-known companies in the industry – the Hershey company got success subsequently. Not just these persons there are many like Abdul Kalam, Abraham Lincoln, J.K Rowling…etc who fought with rejection continuously to achieve.
We need to be self-confident and courageous. Find your inner strengths and challenge yourself. We don’t usually set ourselves back to take a bitter pill to get rid of illness and to attain good health similarly we should never step back to face troubles. You should take life under your control but do not let failure control your life. Success comes from good decisions, good decisions come from experiences, experiences come from failure. Hence the decisions we make in our life when we fall are very substantive. When you decide to do something take a moment to analyze the pros & cons then execute it. Incredible failure always leads to incredible success. Do not cry over spilled milk.
Always bounce back to your trials whenever you fail to reach unbelievable results in your journey towards victory. Fight some bad days to earn the best days of your life. Everyone faces rejection at least once in their life. It is utterly ok to get rejected. As Winston Churchill says Success is never final and failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts so try rebounding to welcome risk with dauntlessness. That gives you thrill indeed. If you learn from your defeat you haven’t lost! Never stop yourself. All the best !!
