“This piece of artwork portrays my journey towards self-healing.  Anxiety has given me a hard time and has stopped me from spreading my wings many a time.

Having anxiety feels like your mind is on fire, over-thinking and over-analysing every little irrelevant thing constantly. It seems like there is a voice at the back of your mind, invariably telling you that everything is not fine when everything in-fact is!

It is important to let that voice speak, let it tell you what it is thinking and then you decide what you want to listen. That voice defines you, only when you decide to listen to it. It is merely a piece of your mind and not the whole!

When there are millions of thoughts running and bumping into each other, it is hard to realize that there’s a choice. But when you let that voice speak, all the worries are on the table and then you pick how you want to play the cards.

I decided to give my mind the care it needed and that is when the healing began. Some days are still galling than the others, but I try not to be too hard on myself. Self-healing is a long journey and you need to adore all the good-bad days along the way.”
