Eyes don’t lie,
Untill guided by cruel brains.
Big and small,
Associated with identities.
Stand fresh and alert,
Reflecting the universe.
Deep and deeper lies the meaning,
That speak with no cords,
Act with no hands,
Still convey love and anger.
It says a lot but often unnoticed,
Fear, pain, emotions and happiness that hide behind,
Often come as tears,
Carrying labels of weakness.
Oh! the body made a mistake,
Letting us see only the world out,
And forget the one within.
To please our eyes and brain
We struggle and celebrate.
Eyes don’t lie,
But miss out,
Seeing love, mind and soul.
What’s not in physical form
Isn’t look for,
As eyes can’t reach,
And see peace that lies deep within.
