The Pain of Many!

It can take us backwards

in these crucial times.

Hope might just take us forward.

Many can sustain

through the lingering pain.

But some can’t withstand the disdain.

It can halt our life.

And create bewildering strife.

Being strong

is not possible all along.

To rise from the pool of fire

and to move forward with

dreadful memories that can expire

might just be the key

to live happily.
