“This piece was drawn with a very intense heart and mental state, where I tried to catch the melancholy of an individual from being in a very routine set-up to being free in-front of the ocean.
In spite of all the materialistic desires and the means to fulfil them somewhere we do fall short before nature. We crave so many things but find solace in nature like a kid in the lap of a mother. When we let our hair loose at a seaside amidst the salty wind and the moon shines upon us and the waves break the silence of the night we are comforted, rejuvenated.
Maybe we wanted this peace all along but never realised, may be we are so used to the everyday grind we don’t see this as a potential desire. But once we get the freedom we carry it in our hearts and always come back to it just to find our much needed peace.”
