The Lipstick.
The phony walls that I have built
Will they let me out someday?
The colorful heart is now with guilt
But I won’t ever let it turn grey
When will this stillness turn to strings
So that I can play them everyday
The songbird promised me, it’d sing
But even it seems to have flown far away
And I wear this lipstick to hide me
I place my bets on nothing but fate
No more bonds I have to break
Hell or heaven, I’ll be home.
When will the worthless turn highly priced
I’ve been waiting to sell my own heart
My sweetest memory, helps me to disguise
But these eyes couldn’t lie right from the start
And I wear this lipstick to hide me
I place my bets on nothing but fate
No more bonds I have to break
Hell or heaven, I’ll be home.
And I wear this lipstick to hide me
I place my bets on nothing but fate
No more bonds I have to break
Hell or heaven, I’ll be home.
Yeah I just want to be home.
