I have been living in the Pune University since 2006, amidst more than 400 acres of greenery, a complete bliss! This expansive space is my escapade, from this crazy messy world. Storming out of the house, craving a respite, works well for me as I am constantly surrounded by lush greenery.

I solve most of my issues by sipping on hot tea!

So, here’s my chai with a view!

You’ll also find a range of beautiful flowers, which undoubtedly will boost your mood, excellent for our mental well-being! Especially the fragrant ones! Flowers are said to reduce anxiety, stress, overthinking and instantly make us feel cheerful!

There’s nothing like “too many flowers”

During the lockdown, people were confined in their homes meanwhile nature seemed to have reclaimed its space. The lush green expanses left a quiet calm in my mind. The sight of this greenery was food for the soul!

Your sky can be of any color you want!

Life gets better with the sight of beautiful skies, smeared in a myriad of vibrant colors. These picturesque skies are nothing less than a treat for the eyes. Admiring the changing colors of the sky is therapeutic for me. I have witnessed numerous breath-taking sunsets, everything stands still; post which, I even forget to fret over trivial moments of my life.

So, here’s to the love for skies and sunsets!

Sunset is a moment where all emotions are experienced: Melancholy, amazement, intoxication, casuistry, admiration, love, sadness… – Mehmet Murat Ildan

The cotton candy skies even get me hungry at times 😛

It brings me immense joy to indulge in an evening stroll on weekends. The perfect way to unwind, the breeze, the rustling leaves, chirping birds render such tranquillity! You’d never wish to return home!

Being connected to nature improves our mental well-being as well as physical fitness. Engaging in activities like morning/ evening walks, gardening, exercising outdoors, or being around animals, refreshes you. Spending quality time, primarily alone in such expansive spaces of nature, enables you to reflect clearly; reduces stress and anxiety; the calmness works well for never-ending anger issues; the sheer presence of greenery energizes you; lastly, works wonders for your physical health!

I realize many of us do not have the privilege to enjoy the perks of living amidst nature, however, visiting a park, garden, or a beach once in a while would really ease things up!
